Description
The Pursuit XT is equipped with a 26? chromoly steel barrel that is tapered and fluted, along with a VAPR twist and 1:24? twist rate. This faster twist helps stabilize bullets, increase accuracy, and expand the range of bullet options for this muzzleloader. Traditions recommends trying the Smackdown Carnivore 250 grain bullet in this muzzleloader.
The Pursuit XT features the Elite XT Trigger system. This upgraded trigger features a precise and accurate trigger pull along with a rebounding hammer and manual cross block trigger safety.
The Muzzleloader comes with the Quick-T Ramrod handle, functions like a palm save and t-handle in one. The Quick-T has a t-shaped piece with a brass jag that screws in, allowing the ramrod to function like a cleaning rod. The Quick-T handle sits on your ramrod when in the rifle?s storage position.
The Accelerator Breech Plug works for both loose and pelletized powder. Additional features include a fast-action release button, extended ambidextrous hammer extension, sling swivel studs, and a solid aluminum ramrod. Weighs 5.75 lbs. Does not come with sights or a scope base.
